For as busy as they are, these youngsters/employees are professionals. They knew what they were doing. They got to us right away... although we were looking 35-40 mins wait time. By the time we got our drinks at the bar, they were already calling us to bowl. We had so much fun!! It was our 1st time there!!
I had a terrible experience at this Alleycats location with the manager and one of their employees. My nephew wanted to go rock climbing and after my sister signed their form my nephew was standing near the rock wall ready to be harnessed when their employee, who already seemed to be in a bad mood since we asked to use the rock wall given it was pretty slow that afternoon (at around 5–5:30 ish), came over and pushed him away from the wall even though my nephew wasn’t doing anything. He only apologized once my sister told him not to touch my nephew and that he is disabled (autism) but he never tried to apologize until my sister confronted him. My nephew still wanted to climb as he wasn’t aware what that man did to him was unjustified and wrong. My sister went to the manager and explained the situation but the manager (picture below: woman with short black hair and glasses) said that she was watching everything and began saying it was a parents responsibility to watch over ones child, my sister agreed with that and said that either way the man had no reason to push my nephew and that the correct response would’ve been to talk with her about it. The manager insisted their employee did nothing wrong. My sister recorded everything and told the manager this and also told her she wanted a refund. We went to the front desk and the manager came back with a completely different story now, she said that she spoke with her employee and that he said he never pushed my nephew. My sister then reminded her that she said she had been watching everything. She is a liar who didn’t bother looking at the security cameras after my sister asked her to. She never bothered with any kind of apology even though her later statements imply she wasn’t present at the time of the incident and she wasn’t even sure about what had happened. This was overall a terrible experience that could’ve been resolved had the manager taken some responsibility and had not tried to justify the actions of a grown man towards a child with autism. This goes to show that they do not care for any child disabled or not. They don’t train their employees to handle children with care and respect that they deserve. The employee didn’t even know how to properly harness my nephew who despite all his excitement was standing still, he had to ask my sister to help him. From the manager to the red head employee, all of them handled this wrong and I will never come back. I hope everyone is careful with their children in their care given the manager was willing to defend a man who’s first instinct is to push a child instead of talking to a parent. My sister was right next to my nephew when everything happened, I was sitting right there too and my nephew’s only emotion was excitement even after he was pushed. Do better ALLEYCATS and employ better people for the safety of children.
In town for a couple of days and was looking for family friendly places and this one popped up! We did an hour of bowling and had a lot of fun! Regret not checking out the arcade, I noticed they also have a rock climbing wall! Super cute fun place for family fun! Service could be a little better but overall a good experience.
