Where do I start!? I had such an amazing time here!!! I was able to do things I never thought I’d do. I fed stingrays, sharks, arowana, huge grooper, and adorable turtles. Our guide was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. Getting to pet and interact with the fish, was a beautiful experience. All of my stress and anxiety melted away. I highly recommend this aquarium! It’s a must see!
I have been to many aquariums, including the one in Seattle and Monterey Bay and for being such a small location, it packs a big punch. The staff seem to be passionate about their work and that translates into a clean fun experience for kids. It was my 1yo and 9yo first time going to an aquarium and they gave several hands on touching ponds and that was so much fun. I’m also impressed at the variety of fish they have for being such a small venue. They have multiple low level tanks so that little kids or people in wheel chairs will have no problem viewing the fish. They also have a fun collection of reptiles, bugs, and birds. This place is a must for families local or on vacation in the Boise area.
We have been here many times!!! Today was by far our favorite. The staff member overseeing the ray pool and the Koi fish was excellent. He answered all my sons questions for his research project. He was very knowledgable and could definitely tell he loved his Job. People like him make these experiences unforgettable! Facility was very clean and just hands down so much for the family!
