Big Time Entertainment in Windsor is an awesome spot to take the kids and have a blast without spending a ton. There’s so much to do — arcade games, laser tag, go-karts, mini golf — you name it! It’s perfect for a family day out, especially if you’re looking to keep the kids or teens entertained for a few hours. Definitely recommend for some good old family fun!
This place is really fun when the games work properly. Unfortunately we encountered lots of issues last time. For starters, the throwing games sometimes have zero balls (or 2-3) and you can’t figure that out until you swipe, causing credits to be wasted. The 2 red ball dropping games both have issues. The left side’s dropper is failing. (balls sometimes don’t release when you click the button) And the buckets on the right side slow down during gameplay, causing the machine to time out on you even if you drop enough balls per bucket (Probably from a failing motor) You can even tell the difference of the bucket speeds on both sides, and that the ride side is significantly slower. The coin pushers occasionally error out, which isn’t a big problem. But it does cause you to wait for a long time sometimes. Pricing is good for most games, besides the prize redemption games being more expensive. This review will be changed to 5 stars if the issues are fixed, because it’s a little ridiculous for the same game issues to be present for months.
It’s honestly sad how greedy this place has gotten. I have been coming since this place opened in 2022, and it has been getting progressively worse over time. It used to be really cheap, most games were 4-6 credits full price. (even the coin pushers) now every coin pusher is 10 credits, when the full set bonus amount is the exact same as when it was 4-6 credits. While some games are still cheap, they lowered the jackpot amount on it significantly. So much so, that even winning it every time (which isn’t possible on most) can’t even win you anything decent. While the jackpots are lower, they still charge the $1-$2.50 to play (4-10 credits) they also took measures to prevent winning on some, such as lowering the time on down the clown from 30 seconds to 20 seconds, which isn’t possible due to the machines not having enough balls. Zombie snatcher has no letter pucks, making the bonus impossible to win, Milk jug toss has incorrect ticket values displayed on the game, the cost slam a winner being raised from 4 credits to 8 per play. Not to mention they don’t have any high valued prizes anymore. This sucks because this place actually used to be a really good place to go. Now it isn’t worth the time or the money. I will not be returning unless something changes. Do better
