Camden Park is such a fun and nostalgic place to visit. It truly has that classic amusement park charm that you don’t find much anymore. The rides are exciting and bring out the kid in everyone! The Big Dipper is an absolute must, it’s one of those timeless coasters that gives you the perfect mix of thrill and history. The Whip is always a blast, and the tram ride offers an awesome view of the park from above. Mini golf is another highlight, surrounded by fountains and beautiful water features that make the experience even better. The atmosphere here feels lively and welcoming, with plenty to see and do. It’s the kind of place that captures the feeling of summer fun perfectly. The park’s scenery, especially around the water and old-fashioned buildings, gives it that classic amusement park feel that’s hard to beat. The only downside is that some rides are occasionally closed when I visit, which can be a little disappointing if you’re looking forward to certain attractions. But overall, Camden Park is a gem, full of character, charm, and fun for all ages. Definitely worth the trip!
This has to be the oldest amusement park in WV, as a kid you paid a dime to get thru the gate then paid for a hand stamp to ride, we would wear the little bracelet all week and talk about riding the Big Dipper . Someone posted these pics today and it brought back a ton of good memories. If you get the chance take your kids here it will be an unforgettable experience.
It really is very beautiful, I did not expect it like this, excellent atmosphere and also all with Halloween costume. A good place to hang out. Don't hesitate to go, it's great, there are goodies and food. Very good attractions for young people, the horror house is great. You must line up to go up to the attractions, regularly 15 or 20 minutes. The animatronics are scary. Don't wait, take your family to enjoy, they will spend an incredible night. The only downside is that some rides are occasionally closed when I visit, which can be a little disappointing if you’re looking forward to certain attractions.
