What an amazing place to ride mountain bikes! There are several trails starting from up check that range in all skill levels. If you’re looking for a flow trail, try some freshly groomed blue squares. If you’re looking for some jumps, try the sidewinder and bomber trails. Porta potties are available if you need to use the restroom or bathroom. take a picture of so you know where you’re going. Enjoy the ride and be safe!
It's the perfect area to launch your downhill mountain biking career or just stroll through the hillsides. They've reduced the porta potties to just one and no, you are not allowed to stay here overnight despite some other sources misinformation. But the lots are spread out and the terrain is very open and accessible. My ex girlfriend said that about 40 years ago, she would attend a summer school here that included a biplane from the airport across the river doing a flyby and dropping a large bag of candy for the kids!!! Oh how things change😅
After a long journey from Oregon to Montana and back this was a perfect place to rest. I appreciate it so much!
