We decided to try the Evergreen Mini Golf course out instead of going to the new Nelson Park mini golf course in Decatur. This course is cheaper $1.50 per person, but it's definitely not worth the cheaper price. It is a small course, designed for little kids, and the clubs were sticky and icky. We started to play (played one hole) and it started to pour down rain. We didn't get our money back or even a percentage, but instead they gave us tickets to return. It would've been nice if they would've refunded our money because we probably won't return (we live out of town and it wasn't that great). If you live in Effingham and just want something to do with your young children for a short time, this is adequate. If you are looking for a fun time with your adult friends or family, go to Nelson Park in Decatur. Oh, and also, there is a limit of 4 people. They let us play, but if it had been busy, it is doubtful that we could've played at all. We have 5 in our family...all adults who wanted a fun day out together. We probably would've played this course in about 20 minutes. It is very small. And please clean those club handles. During Covid, this is pretty gross. Luckily, they had hand sanitizer, but sticky icky during a pandemic isn't cool.
