The course is ok. Lots of brown on the fairway. Also very rough to ride over with carts. Holes are not very well marked. Multiple greens have tons of brown spots. For 60 a round i would have expected. Not terrible but not sure i would be back.
I played the "flat 9" north course three times in the past few weeks and thought it was a great place to start my return to the game. Some of the holes are quite challenging, with only a narrow window to the fairway. No sand or water to worry about. I played the front 9 of the south course this morning and found it in great condition. There are some "ground under repair" spots here and there, but the fairways, greens, fringes, and roughs are all in beautiful condition. Prices are very reasonable. For a senior* who walks and carries his bag, it was only $14 for 9 holes. *Note: the date of birth on my driver's license indicates I am a senior... my brain vehemently disagrees!!!
We played 18 today on the South course. The course was in decent but not outstanding condition. There's lots of work being done with new asphalt paving on some cart paths and work being done to improve the drainage. Two issues: 1. The urinals in the men's room need to be cleaned. They stink. 2. The carts do not show distances to the greens or other useful information. They do, however, shut down your cart if it thinks you are not on cart path. The system needs work before they continue using it. While driving ON THE CART PATH on the 16th hole, the cart lost power and refused to go forward. It would only go in reverse, so I backed up until the cart came to life again. It still would stop forward progress until it got by the no forward zone. Tried several times back up and get through the no forward power zone. Was only able to continue by turning around and backing past no forward zone io the 17th tee and into the 17th fairway where normal operation was possible. Note: All of the above was with 4 wheels on the cart path. Until they get the bugs out of the gps they should shut it off.
