Our family’s favorite mini golf spot, hands down. We found Matterhorn Mini Golf during a full-on “mini golf madness” day where we hit six different courses across northwest CT—and this one blew the others away. It’s Swiss-themed with fun, creative holes and quirky Alpine charm throughout. The course is genuinely challenging but never frustrating, with clever obstacles and handcrafted details at every turn. You can really feel the pride and love the owner puts into the place—she’s there every time we visit, welcoming players and keeping everything spotless. Don’t miss the soft serve either—they’ve got tasty flavor twists that hit the spot after a round. And the final hole? It’s a giant cuckoo clock. Sink your ball in it, and you win a prize. Just a great, family-run gem that we can’t recommend highly enough. If you’re anywhere near the area, go.
We had SO much fun at this course. The owner was so stinking cute and friendly. We enjoyed learning about the history and details of Matterhorn Mini Golf. She was kind enough to let us store our iced coffees in the fridge in the lobby. This was the most thoughtful and creative mini golf course I have been on. You can tell that knowledge, attention to detail, and love went into the facility. The landscaping was beautiful, the course was interesting and challenging, and the Swiss facts were so fun! I highly recommend playing here and I can't wait to go back!
Took a 7 and 11 yr old on 6.23.22 and we all loved it. Not only is this venue unique and absolutely meticulous but it caters to all ages. It has fun facts about Switzerland, beautiful landscaping cool goats, and the staff is super friendly and polite. This is a must stop if you've never been here. The golfing is fun and the venue is beautiful.
