It's a great driving range for fun and practice but they need to update their opening times on Google. Says it's open, less busy than usual but in person states closed for the season. Not a completely wasted trip since Dairy Queen is next door but for others who aren't familiar with this place, it's a let down to see after making the trip.
My family has been coming to Southwest golf center for several decades now. It was always a fun summer treat to drive out from Cleveland to the "far away" city of Berea to have ice cream at the Dairy queen and the. Play a round of mini golf. Now that I live in the area, I realized that while I have visited the Dairy queen, we had not visited the mini golf since COVID began. Met my parents at the location, had some ice cream and they, my wife, and I all played a round of mini-golf. I will say that the course is looking a little worse for wear but otherwise was still in a very playable state. Some of the starting green is worn and rough but it didn't prevent us from having a great time. Lots of folks were out also playing and it was great seeing several families with young children enjoying what I did as a child all those years ago. Its great when there is a sense of nostalgia that still rings true when you experience it later in life.
So this place doesn’t care about anything it’s 8 o’clock. Their lights are off inside. It’s 830 and there’s no lights on outside. I asked the kid inside. He has no idea where the lights are inside or outside. It’s a Friday night place could be so much more wish I had the money to buy itt. You can thank my camera for the great picture in the dark.
